1. Be aware that the book list will be updated daily as we receive new orders from faculty and shipments from publishers. Please note that because text information can change at any time (faculty changes, publisher upgrades, canceled classes, etc) we are not responsible for information used on this site for the purchase of texts from other sources. Students purchasing materials on this site are protected under our Return Policy.
2. Prices are subject to change. If the published price of any item on your order increases by more than $5, we will contact you prior to finalizing the charges.
3. If books are in stock, most web orders will require at least 2-3 business days to process. Orders placed before books have arrived will be the first ones processed upon arrival of books. Please keep in mind that we do not work when the store is closed; books ordered at night will not be ready for pickup at the bookstore when we open the next morning. We will do our best to process your order quickly, but please note that during "rush" - the week before and the first week of each semester - that additional time will be needed. As we have three locations, there is also the possibility that an item will have to travel to the requested pickup location.
4. Used versus New: The availability of used books is not guaranteed. After placing items into your cart and going to checkout, a "Used Book Alert" will show up at the top of the page. It asks what action we should take when any used books you have ordered are not available; substitute for new copies, or delete the unavailable books from the order. If you select not to substitute for new, we will make one attempt to contact you so that you are aware that the item or items will not be included in your order. Please be sure to include up to date contact information when placing your order.
5. Fed Ex Shipments: Orders for items that are in stock take 2-3 working days to process and should arrive at your home within 3 working days of date of shipment if you live in the state of Maine. If an item on your order has not yet arrived in the store, we will wait for it to come in so everything can be shipped together. If an item on your order has sold out, we will contact you.
6. When you click the "place your order" button, we'll send you an e-mail message acknowledging receipt of your order. Your credit, debit, or gift card will not be charged until after we have printed out your order and gathered the items from our shelves.
7. Refunds: Spring 2012 Books are no longer returnable.
